KEY STAFF:
Julius Grafton : College CEO, business trainer. Julius holds management, sound, lighting and training qualifications and has worked in the industry since 1973. Julius has a regular mixing gig and keeps current.
Steve James : General Manager, counsellor. Steve has an Advanced Diploma of Counselling and Communication, and has a long involvement with the entertainment and music industry.
Monique Wilson : Student Manager. Monique has tertiary qualifications and a Diploma of Counselling. Monique handles administration, enrolment interviews, and offers free student counselling.
Andy Mackenzie : Head of Training, audio and OH&S specialist. Andy has been a sound and lighting engineer for many years, and has a passion for the industry. He is tertiary qualified.
James Den-Ouden : Specialist trainer, audio and video systems. Working freelance on broadcast and live shows.
Rob Zimola : Specialist Trainer, recorded audio. A well credentialed recording engineer and producer with 25+ years experience and training qualifications. He holds a Diploma in studio engineering.
Simone Parrott : Specialist Trainer, events and theatre. Simone has worked extensively on corporate and theatrical events. She holds multiple tertiary qualifications.
Helen Hunter : Accountant. Helen has the job no one else wants, but also the job with probably the most responsibility.
VISITING FACULTY:
We generally utilise experienced, working technicians on a part time basis.
Currently on roster:
Don Jones : Senior trainer, conventional lighting and OH&S. Semi retired, many years experience.
Michael Quinn : Specialist trainer, audio and moving lights. Works freelance in venues as a technical manager.
Jason Hamiester – Specialist trainer, vision systems. Works freelance on vision and broadcast shows.
Steve Defina – Specialist trainer, studio and live audio. Former studio manager 301, trainer at SAE.
